Simon Stålenhag is a Swedish artist that has developed a very personal style by introducing futuristic elements into 1990's-styled Nordic everyday situations.

I particularly enjoy pictures with cars: Volvo, Saab and Volkswagen models from the late 80s and 90s. It is appealing because the familiar end-of-century elements contrast with hardcore futuristic machines.

Suddently giant robots become household items, by mixing them with our childhood memories.
