H. R. Giger -Hans Ruedi Giger- is the artist that inspired my childhood nightmare: the Xenomorph from 1979's Alien film.
The Xenomorphs as introduced in later 1986's Aliens film was re-intrepeted by artist Denis Beauvais who created the impressive cover for the 1989-1990 comic-book series, predating the underwater scenes from 1997's Alien Resurrection film.
